If Mr H were an animal, he’d either be a tiny mouse or a giant Godzilla! His real name is Mr Luke, and we think he’s either 14 or 41 years old. His favourite food is anything with gluten and chocolate, and he’s always telling (bad) jokes and clicking his pen. He might not be the best at dancing, but he’s awesome at football and making school fun. We’re pretty lucky to have the best Principal ever!

Elissa Jackson

If Miss Jackson were an animal, she’d definitely be a lion, strong, confident, and always looking out for everyone! Her real name is Jackson, and she loves eating noodles and drinking coffee. She’s always saying, “You made my day!” and when she’s not at school, she’s busy gardening and doing farm work. At school, she loves teaching math, reading, and writing, and she’s amazing at both teaching and talking (a lot!). We think she’s 30 years old, and honestly, there’s nothing she can’t do!

If Mrs F were an animal, she’d be an owl! Her favourite food is slow-cooked spiced lamb or anything she’s cooked herself because she’s an amazing chef. She loves cooking and gardening, and she’s always saying, “Save it for recess!” or “Oh yeah!” We think she’s either 42 or 37 years old, and while she might not be the best at climbing trees or seeing without her glasses, she’s the absolute best at maths, cooking, and being kind!

Katelyn Ardley

Grade 2/3 Teacher

If Miss Ardley were an animal, she’d definitely be a sloth, calm and easy going! Her favourite food is pizza, and she’s always saying, “Fantastic!” or “Get your books out!” She loves to travel and teach (especially when the class is well-behaved!). We think she’s “30-something” years old, and while she might not be the best at sport, she’s incredibly kind and funny, making every day in her classroom a great one!

If Miss Crawford were an animal, she’d be a monkey, full of energy and always having fun! Her real name is Molly, and she’s 26 years old. She’s always saying, “Superstars!” and “Rockstars!” to cheer us on. Her favourite foods are sushi and bananas and she loves playing netball and spending time with her dog, Linc. While singing and knitting might not be her strongest skills, she’s one of the most fun teachers at our school and we love every moment in her class!

Alice Mareska

If Ms Mareska were an animal, she’d definitely be a kookaburra, always laughing and full of energy! She’s known for wearing bright, colourful outfits that make every day feel exciting. Her hidden talent is drawing amazing pictures, and her favourite thing to do at school is teaching writing and reading. She’s amazing at so many things, but keeping her desk tidy for more than a day is definitely not one of them! We think she’s 40 years old (although she’s way too fun to be that old!).

If Miss Charlton were an animal, she’d be a rabbit, full of energy and always bouncing around with excitement! She’s 21 years old and loves eating pizza. She’s always encouraging us by saying, “That’s amazing work!” or telling us to “Stop it!” when we’re being a little too silly. She’s not so great at keeping a straight face when something funny happens but she is incredible at surfing and the best at making our classroom look absolutely magical.

If Mr B were an animal, he’d be a Labrador, friendly and full of energy! He’s 25 years old and loves singing and playing music. He’s always saying, “Let’s go!” and “Look at me!” to get our attention. He has the best taste in music and is an amazing musician, but he’s not exactly a pro at netball or remembering names! Luckily, he’s the best at teaching us music!

If Mrs Deering were an animal, she’d be a cheetah, super speedy and always on the move! She’s 27 years old and absolutely loves fitness, especially playing netball. Her favourite foods are Top Deck chocolate and fresh fruit (a perfect balance!). She’s always cheering us on with a big smile and saying, “You’ve got this!”

If Mrs Callcott were an animal, she’d be a bookworm, always surrounded by books and ready to share a great story! She’s 32 years old and loves eating salad and biscuits. She’s always saying, “If you’re going to borrow, go now!” to keep us all organised in the MARC library. Her real name is Jane, and she’s the best at helping us find amazing books and teaching us everything there is to know about reading!

If Hannah were an animal, she’d be a butterfly, always fluttering around the office, making sure everything runs smoothly! She loves eating butter chicken and her favourite subject in school was P.E. She’s always saying, “Go back to class!” and spends lots of time working on her ‘puter. Although she isn’t the best at sharpening pencils or leaving the office, she’s amazing at helping people when they’re hurt and keeping the school running!

If Deb were an animal, she’d be a mouse, small, kind and always looking out for everyone! She’s 43 years old and loves eating apricots and avocado. She’s always saying, “Are you okay?”, “How’s your day been?”, or “Keep trying!” When she’s not at school, she loves spending time with her animals. Although she’s not the best at skateboarding, she’s an amazing drawer and the absolute best at helping people!

He’s 20 years old, and while soccer might not be his strong point, he’s amazing at helping out and fixing things!

If Mikayla was an animal, she’d be a donkey, her favourite thing to do is help people and draw pictures, she is 61 years old and she loves to eat strawberries and popcorn. She’s always saying “Today is a good day!”, “Hello!” and “You can do it!”. She’s not the best at catching crocodiles or patting lizards, she’s great at packing up, helping us with writing and she’s the best at cutting along the lines.

Best of all, we know she’s always there to help us when we need it, and she makes sure everyone feels supported and included!

If Miss Kerr were an animal, she’d be a bee, always buzzing around and getting things done! Her real name is Cindy, and she loves eating veggies and hot dogs. She’s always saying “get to work” and “wonderful!” She’s great at learning and running, and she’s 29 years old. Although she isn’t great at juggling, she’s a superstar teacher who always keeps everything running smoothly!

If Mr Francis were an animal, he’d be a golden retriever, super friendly and calm! He loves eating toasted sandwiches dipped in tomato sauce (which we think is kinda weird!). He’s always saying, “Let’s get this done!” and makes learning really fun. He’s definitely not the best at braiding hair, but he’s really good at football! His class thinks he’s the best teacher ever because no matter what, he never yells!

If Mrs Taylor were an animal, she’d be a butterfly, bright, colourful, and always bringing joy wherever she goes! She’s best at keeping everyone busy with fun learning games, and she likes reading fun books and loves insects (we even have leaf bugs in our classroom!). She’s amazing at making learning fun, but we’re pretty sure she wouldn’t be the best at video games! You’ll always spot her in her bright, colourful outfits, making school an even happier place. We think she’s either 49 or 55 years old!

If Mel were an animal, she’d be a cockatoo, bright, cheerful, and always bringing positive energy wherever she goes! Her favourite food is pancakes (with lots of syrup!), and in her spare time, she loves reading and going on nature walks. She’s always saying, “You’ve got this!” and is the best at making people feel happy and safe. While she’s not great at frowning or being mad, that’s because she’s always smiling!

We think she’s 27 years old!

She’s always saying, “You’re doing amazing!” and “Great job, team!” She’s the best at making sure everyone feels happy and included, but somehow, she’s not the best at walking into Kmart without buying something random! We think she’s 88 years old… or maybe just really wise!

His favourite food is a whole watermelon and he’s the best at winning every race and sports game. While he might not be great at doing the splits, he’s definitely the champion of all things sporty!

He’s always saying, “Smile, it’s a great day!” and somehow, he makes every day feel like a celebration. We think he’s 35 years old!
